General Terms and Conditions
for participation in the AI Transformation Camp Munich
This is an English courtesy translation. The German version is the legally binding document. In case of discrepancies, the German text prevails.
§ 1 Scope and Organiser
These General Terms and Conditions apply to participation in the AI Transformation Camp Munich (hereinafter “Event”), organised by:
orgaloom GmbH
Marktplatz 4
85567 Grafing bei München, Germany
Managing Director: Martin Ströbele
HRB 309239, Amtsgericht München
VAT ID: DE460371070
These Terms apply to all participants, irrespective of whether they are consumers (B2C) or entrepreneurs (B2B), including participants from Switzerland.
Deviating terms and conditions of the participant are not accepted unless the organiser expressly agrees to their application in writing.
§ 2 Conclusion of contract
By purchasing a ticket through our ticket shop (Pretix), a contract for participation in the Event is concluded. The booking is confirmed by email.
The prices applicable at the time of booking shall apply.
§ 3 Scope of services
The ticket entitles the holder to full-day participation in the Event, including:
- Access to all sessions and the open space marketplace
- Catering (breakfast, lunch, drinks)
The programme is shaped jointly by the participants in an open space format. The organiser makes no warranty regarding specific content, speakers or sessions.
§ 4 Right of withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal is excluded pursuant to § 312g (2) no. 9 German Civil Code (BGB). Contracts for services connected with leisure activities are exempt from the right of withdrawal where the contract provides for a specific date of performance.
§ 5 Cancellation and return
Returns are generally excluded. On a cancellation request, we check on a case-by-case basis whether a replacement can be found from our waiting list. If a replacement is available, we refund the full ticket price. Without a replacement, no refund is made.
Please send cancellation requests by email to muc@ai-transformation-camp.de.
§ 6 Ticket transfer
Transferring the ticket to another person is permitted. The purchaser may change the participant name independently in the order portal up to one day before the Event.
Responsibility for a proper transfer lies with the original purchaser. The organiser accepts no liability for any problems arising from the transfer or use by third parties.
§ 7 Payment terms
All prices include the statutory value added tax (VAT). Payment is made via the ticket shop either by credit card or Apple Pay / Google Pay (payment processing by Stripe, Inc.) or by SEPA bank transfer (advance payment) to the organiser’s business account. The payment deadline is 5 days after booking.
The SEPA bank transfer option is disabled 14 days before the Event to ensure timely allocation of incoming payments. For credit card / wallet payments, the latest possible receipt of payment is 1 day before the Event.
§ 8 Cancellation or postponement of the Event
The organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Event for good cause (e.g. force majeure, official orders, illness of key organisers, insufficient number of participants). In the event of cancellation, ticket prices already paid will be refunded in full. In the event of postponement to a substitute date, the purchased ticket retains its validity; alternatively, the participant may request a refund of the ticket price.
Further claims, in particular for reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs or loss of earnings, are excluded.
§ 9 Photography and audio recordings
During the Event, photographs and, where applicable, video recordings are made by the organiser or on the organiser’s behalf. These recordings may be used for reporting on the Event as well as for the organiser’s marketing and public relations work – in particular on the website, in social media, newsletters, press releases and printed materials.
By attending, participants agree that they may be depicted in such recordings and that the recordings may be used and published for the stated purposes. Participants who do not wish to be photographed or filmed are asked to inform the organiser on site.
§ 10 Liability
The organiser is liable without limitation for damages caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of the organiser or its agents. Liability for slight negligence is excluded unless essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) are breached. In the event of breach of essential contractual obligations due to slight negligence, liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable contractual damage.
Liability for damage arising from injury to life, body or health, as well as claims under the German Product Liability Act (ProdHaftG), remain unaffected by the foregoing limitations.
§ 11 Data protection
Information on the processing of personal data can be found in our privacy policy.
§ 12 Final provisions
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. For consumers, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which they habitually reside shall apply if they are more favourable.
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is, to the extent legally permissible, Munich.
Should individual provisions of these Terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
