The AI Transformation Camp is an open space event – a format where everyone contributes. No one-way talks. Real discussions, workshops and sessions that emerge on the day.

Getting there

Public transport: Take the S-Bahn or U-Bahn to Munich Ostbahnhof, then a few minutes on foot into the Werksviertel district.

Parking: Underground garage at the i9-Plaza right next door (€2.50 / hour).

About half of our participants attend an open space event for the first time. Don’t worry – you don’t have to prepare anything. But if you want, you can offer a session.

Raise a question that’s on your mind. The group discusses — you moderate.

Lightning Talk

10–15 minutes of input, then open discussion. Slides optional.

Hands-on Workshop

Show a tool, a method or a workflow. Bring your laptop.

How it started

It all started in 2025.

A sold-out camp. Inspiring meetups. And a community that treats AI not just as a tool – but as an invitation to work together.

Thank you to everyone who joined in, jumped into sessions and helped shape it. What started as an event became the beginning of something bigger.

Frequently asked questions

Are food and drinks included?

Yes! Breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks throughout the day – all included in the ticket price.

Do I have to offer a session?

No. You can simply take part and contribute to sessions. Offering a session is optional – but encouraged.

Who can attend?

Anyone interested in AI transformation. From developers and product owners to executives. No prior knowledge required.

How many people will be there?

Around 120 people. Big enough for diversity, small enough for real exchange.

Can I return or transfer my ticket?

Returns are generally excluded. On a cancellation request, we check on a case-by-case basis whether a replacement can be found from our waiting list – in that case we refund the full ticket price. Without a replacement, no refund is made.

However, you may transfer your ticket to another person at any time up to one day before the event (change the name in the order portal). Details in our terms and conditions.

What is an open space event?

An open space event is an open format: the programme is created together in the morning. Anyone can propose a session. There are no fixed speakers – everyone is both a participant and a contributor.

Is the event in English or German?

Most sessions are held in German, but English is welcome. If you propose an English session, we’ll happily announce it accordingly. The international and bilingual nature of Munich’s tech scene is reflected in our community.
